Answer

The 2 topics I reviewed for this discussion post were the Dred Scott Case of 1857. Dred Scott was a slave from Missouri, who was moved to Illinois and then again to Wisconsin, both of these territories prohibited slavery. Once Dred Scott returned to Missouri, Scott attempted to buy his and his family’s freedom.
