HSE 101 Journal Guidelines and Rubric
Journal assignments are private between student and instructor. Your journal assignments should directly address the topics and questions listed in the assignment.
Approach these activities as (a) an opportunity to reflect upon and apply what you learn each week based on the assigned readings, discussions, and activities, and (b) an opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise based on your educational and professional experiences in the past. As a successful professional, you will need good reflective and writing skills. Journal activities offer you the opportunity to further develop these skills. Each journal activity is graded separately.
For your journal post, you must:
- Compose a journal assignment of at least two paragraphs
- In Module One, complete the journal assignment by Sunday 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
- In Modules Two, Three, and Six, complete the journal assignment by Sunday 11:59 p.m. of your local time zone.
- Support your response with course materials from the current module (and previous modules, when appropriate).
- Include personal reflection that demonstrates a connection between real life, learning, and readings
What to Submit
