COUC 515 Building a Research Design Assignment Instructions
Overview
In this course you have learned how to find a gap in the research, build a research question, and determine the independent and dependent variables of a study. You have also begun the process of learning how quantitative and qualitative studies report their findings. Now it is time to build your own research design template.
Instructions
For this assignment, you will refer to the feedback you received for the Topic Selection: Final Topic Selection Assignment. You will use the following decision template to build a research design from your Topic Selection: Final Topic Selection Assignment research question. Your answers should be brief, but clear answers to each of the design components.
You will:
- Choose the appropriate research design for your study.
- Provide brief but clear answers using APA format and style to each design component for either a quantitative or qualitative design.
- Be sure to include a title page and abstract and use subheadings for each of the section headings below.
