Assessment Description
Extrinsic and intrinsic motivation plays a role in student learning. Educators must utilize research-based teaching and learning strategies to create classroom environments that lead to higher levels of engagement and motivation for students. When teachers utilize real-world, hands-on problem-solving and ongoing open-ended assignments, student engagement, motivation, and progress increase.
